Free
Roswell Daily Record's Film Festival Graphic for 2024, a movie reel as a ufo.

The city of Roswell is well known for its history around the ufology and the paranormal. The independent and artistic filmmakers scene has taken place in the Roswell Convention Center. Roswell Daily Record Film Festival has rapidly turned into a favorite between independent filmmakers related to the documentary, horror, mystery and sci-fi world. We are committed to screen the complete official selection of films at our live event, where filmmakers and guests will participate in the Q&A’s and panels, enhancing the opportunity for networking with directors, cast, crew and people from the industry. An amazing opportunity to submerge yourself in other visual artists’ works! All the films related to ufology, the paranormal and cryptozoology are welcome to be part of our selection! The Roswell Daily Record is well known for being the newspaper who told the news of an alleged Ufo crash outside the city in 1947. That cover is one of the most recognized in the world. That gave the newspaper the chance to be part of hundreds of films, tv shows and documentaries. Every year we work with networks such as Netflix, History, Discovery+, just to mention a few.

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Film Festival Official Selection

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Guest Speaker Panel

5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Guest Speaker Martin Delon (Between the UFO and the paranormal) – Martin Delon’s interest in production started at a young age. His strong eye for identifying top-notch on- and off-screen talent, creative storylines and technique, combined with savvy business acumen, led him to form Gaucho Productions. Since 1999, Gaucho Productions’ mission has been to develop and produce both independent film and television programs with a strong emphasis on niche markets. Martin’s passion for moviemaking first came to fruition when he directed his first feature-length film, “La Taqueria,” in 2000. The film was ahead of its time, as it was shot in both English and Spanish and invited fans to participate during filming via live video streaming. Since then, Martin has produced five feature-length films with distribution. In 2017, Martin reached a production milestone, embarking on his first international project, “La Ultima Fase,” written and directed by a Uruguayan director, and shot in Argentina.

8:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Guest Speaker Clyde Lewis (Ground Zero Live Show) – Clyde Lewis is a peculiar futurist talk show host who created Ground Zero Radio in 1995. He is a lover of B-horror and science fiction movies and worked his way through the lean years publishing his own fanzines and co-writing scripts for television and radio with Director Kevin Delullo. He has been featured in UFO Magazine and Unknown Magazine and has appeared on Sightings and Strange Universe. His interests also include comic books and mythology. He has always been a supporter of Troma motion pictures and now lends his voice to the Toxic Avenger.
