Relax after Thanksgiving and join us for some hot chocolate and apple cider as we learn about the sandhill cranes that make Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge as one of their stops along their migration!
There will be a short PowerPoint presentation about the sandhill cranes in the auditorium at 3:30 p.m. We ask for reservations for the auditorium presentation due to limited seating. Call the refuge front desk at 575-244-6256.
Around 4:00 p.m. join us out on the auto tour loop to watch the sandhill cranes. We will also have spotting scopes on hand. Anyone is welcome, no reservations required to view the cranes out on the auto tour. Enjoy some cookies, hot chocolate and apple cider at the Visitor Center! The Friends Nature Shop will be open. Come join us!
