pARTy After Hours: Swing into the 40’s

Join us as we “Swing into the 40s” and celebrate the opening of our new Decades exhibition that highlights works in the RMAC collection from the 1930s and 1940s.
Enjoy exclusive evening access to the Museum and a mix of 40’s inspired activities at this free, after-hours event for ages 21 and over. Come early at 5:30 pm for a free 30-minute swing dance class with instructor Ada Palacios, then be ready to jump and jive as Roswell’s Five Star DJ plays big band music all evening. Take a dance break and create a felt flower corsage or boutonniere, enjoy a gallery talk about the Decades exhibition and get your photo taken in our 40s era photo booth.

The event will feature a cash bar presented by Pecos Flavors Winery and new this pARTy, BBQ vendor Fireman’s Pit Bar-B-Que from Carlsbad will be on site selling dinner options from pulled pork sandwiches to loaded nachos. Stick around for door prize drawings at the end of the evening generously provided by local vendors.
